Real Madrid came back from behind to hold rivals Atletico Madrid to a 1-1 draw in a derby clash at Santiago Bernabeu last week. Julian Alvarez handed the visitors the lead in the 35th minute from the penalty spot but Los Blancos reacted strongly after the break as Kylian Mbappe netted the equaliser in the 50th minute.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti was reportedly furious with the lack of fluency in his team's attack in the first 45 minutes as the Italian coach lashed out at his star attackers during the break. He had sent a stern warning to Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham that there would be consequences if things did not drastically change in the second half.
